Service Description

5 Days / 5 Projects During this short course you will learn the basic skills needed to create your own silver jewellery. You will learn to use a range of jewellery tools and techniques in a friendly and relaxed environment in the heart of Wales. Farryl will guide you through a range of techniques for basic introductory to jewellery making. You will have the opportunity to learn different styles and design ideas. You will be guided through the following project over the 5 days. Day 1 - Stacking rings Day 2 - Pierced out flower earrings Day 3 - Cabochon setting, ring or pendant Day 4 - Chain making Day 5 - Delf clay / Cuttlefish casting, oxidizing and finishing INCLUDED: All materials and use of our tools Hot & cold refreshments PLEASE BRING: Please remember to bring a packed lunch as there will be a Lunch break half way through the day. We do have a microwave if you wish to heat up any food. HEALTH & SAFETY: Please wear closed shoes and tie up any loose hair as we will be handling heavy tools and working with a torch. COVID-19: As soon as you enter the studio please make use of the hand sanitizer. Feel free to hang your bag and coat up on the hook where you take your apron from. Please try keep a safe distance from other students at all times.
